														| The health of the boys is regularly attended by a qualified 
																Doctor assisted by a Nursing Assistant. Students requiring special attention 
																and care are admitted in the school hospital. More serious cases or those 
																requiring medical advice of a specialist are referred to RIMS, Imphal. Cases of 
																prolonged or very serious illness are reported to their parents for suitable 
																action. | 
													
													
														| GENERATOR | 
													
													
														| The School has a 125 KVA and a 12.5 KVA generators ensuring 
																uninterrupted power supply to the entire campus. | 
													
													
														| WATER SUPPLY | 
													
													
														| The School has its own water reservoir, filtration and 
																treatment plant. Sufficient water is made available to the dormitories in the 
																morning and evening for bathing purposes. Aquaguards are installed in the Mess, 
																Hostels, and School building to provide purified drinking water to the cadets 
																at all times. | 
													
													
														| LAUNDRY SERVICE | 
													
													
														| Laundry services are available to students. All students are 
																required to give their clothes for washing and ironing to their respective

														| The School has a branch of Bank of India - Sainik School

														| CSD | 
													
													
														| In order to cater to the requirement of students pertaining to 
																stationery, text books, toiletries, clothing etc., necessary arrangements exist 
																within the school campus. The students may take various items as per their 
																requirements from the School CSD using STUDENT PURCHASE SLIP. The amount so 
																spent is adjusted against the incidental money deposited by the parents. The 
																purchases made by the students through PURCHASE SLIPS are vetted and signed by 
																the concerned Housemaster in order to prevent wasteful expenditure. The details 
																of purchases made by the students are forwarded to the parents along with the 
																Statement of Account in May and December every year. The unspent portion of the 
																advance is refunded at the time of leaving the School. | 
													
													
														| BOOKS AND STATIONERY | 
													
													
														| All text books and stationery items can be provided to the 
																students under school arrangements. The expenses on this account shall be 
																debited to the student account and adjusted against the advance. Procurement of

														| CLASSES | 
													
													
														| The School caters for classes from VI to XII under the 
																10+2scheme of Education, and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary 
																Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Admissions are made in classes VI and IX only. | 
													
													
														| CURRICULUM | 
													
													
														| The School prepares the students for the following 
																examinations 
															 (a) All India Secondary School Examination (Std. X) conducted 
																	by the CBSE, New Delhi. The medium of instruction is English. While English and 
																	Hindi are compulsory subjects, an option has to be exercised between Manipuri 
																	and Sanskrit upto class VIII. Other main subjects taught upto class X are 
																	Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Life Science, History and Civics, Economics, 
																	Geography, SUPW, Health & Physical Education as prescribed by the CBSE. 
															 (b) All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Std. XII) 
																	conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi. The school caters for the SCIENCE STREAM only

														| COMPUTER EDUCATION | 
													
													
														| The School offers Computer as a subject to the students upto 
																class VIII. All students get ample opportunity to handle computers and 
																gain knowledge about the latest hardware and software. The School at present 
																has well equipped computer laboratory with 70 computers and few more are 
																likely to be added soon. | 
													
													
														| PRIVATE TUITION | 
													
													
														| Private tuitions in school are not permitted. Special tutorial 
																classes are arranged to pay individual attention to academically weak boys. 
																Parents are, however, advised to arrange for intensive coaching of their wards 
																during the vacations to help them in further improving their knowledge. | 
													
													
														| EXAMINATIONS AND TESTS | 
													
													
														| The examination system consists of two term tests held in the 
																months of Aug-Sep and Nov-Dec respectively, followed by the annual examination 
																at the end of the academic session. Progress reports are sent to the parents 
																immediately after the tests are over. Those students who do not show 
																satisfactory progress are warned at the end of each exam, and their 
																parents/guardians are also informed. Special attention is thereafter given to 
																these students by conducting remedial extra classes. | 
													
													
														| PROMOTION | 
													
													
														| The minimum marks required for promotion to next class are 40% 
																in each subject and 50% in aggregate. If a student fails, he is withdrawn from

																a separate reference section having select books and encyclopedias cater to the

														| In order to develop team spirit and 
																esprit-de-corps amongst students, they are accommodated House wise under four 
																Wings - Netaji House, Raman House, Shivaji House and Tagore House. These houses 
																comprises boys from class VII to XII. Junior most cadets i.e., class VI 
																cadets are under one house - Tikendrajit House. The boys are groomed to live a 
																corporate life and develop a sense of emotional integration. | 
													
													
														| HOUSE MANAGEMENT | 
													
													
														| Each House is managed by a Housemaster, 
																assisted by a Deputy Housemaster and two Assistant Housemasters while the 
																holding Houses of class VI have a Housemaster and an Assistant Housemaster each 
																to look after the boys. There are a total of four Hostel Superintendents in 
																addition to a Matron who carry out close supervision of students in their 
																dormitories and are responsible for their care, welfare, personal health and 
																hygiene and discipline at all times. |

														| All students dine together in a well 
																	furnished common dining hall. The cooking arrangements are supervised by a 
																	qualified Mess Manager. Both Non-Vegetarian and Vegetarian menus are catered

																Cadets regularly take part in Republic Day Parade camp at New Delhi and Annual

																Senior NCC cadets are detailed to attend Adventure Courses, at HMI, Darjeeling,
