| EXAMINATIONS AND TESTS |
The Central Board of Secondary Education has introduced
Examination Reforms and Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). This
school being affiliated to CBSE follows CBSE norms. CCE is implemented from
Class VI to X. Class XI and XII are governed by AISSCE of CBSE. Internal
Examination (Scholastic area) of Classes VI to X comprise four numbers of
Formative Assessment (FA) of 10% Weightage in two terms which culminate with
one Summative Assessment (SA) each viz SA-I of 30% weightage for Term-I ending
September and SA-II of 30% weightage for Term-II ending February-March.
Besides, students are groomed and then graded in Co-Scholastic areas and
Non-Scholastic aspects too. Class X students are given the option to choose
Board Based SA-II or School based SA-II to be conducted in March as per the
CBSE policy in vogue. |
